File Cytogrid (To be stored on an EXCEL or QUATTRO PRO spreadsheet) |
Column A: Code Code of the point on the grid The code of the point on the grid is composed of two components: *Code of the Institute (Link 3) doing the collection (which can be different from the participant doing the analysis, cf. Table 2 of Task 1.3. in the Technical Annex). Codes of the Institutes correspond to Participant number with the EU project) are as follows: P1: INRA, P2: NFV, P3: BFH, P4: FC, P5: DLO,P6: WSL, P7: FLR,P8: ARCS, P9:NERC(ITE), P10: CIMA-KT, P11: ARB, P12: UDESAM * a number in sequence given by the collector For example, P1-0058 is point 58 collected by P1. |

Column B: Tree Number in sequence of the individual tree (from 1 to 5) sampled in that provenance |

Column C: Locality Name of the nearest locality |

Column E: Latitude Latitude of the point in decimal Greenwich degrees with 3 decimal places (For example 42.786 corresponds to 42°47'10'') |
Column F: Longitude Longitude of the point in decimal Greenwich degrees with 3 decimal places (western longitudes are negative, for example 4°47'10'' corresponds to 4.786) |
Column G: Altitude Altitude of the point in meters |
Column H: Country Name of the country, where the sample point is located |
Column I: Origin Indicate the most likely origin of the provenance. Four different alternatives are considered: (1) probably indigenous : native (2) introduced for sure, and the origin is unknown : introduced
Recall that the sampling should only considered trees of natural origin. But in case that there is no other alternative, trees of artificial origin can be considered. As a result alternatives (2) to (4) should be rare. |
Column J: Stand Indicate the stand conditions in which the sample tree was collected. Three alternatives are considered: (1) forest : forest (2) hedges : hedges (3) isolated trees: isolated |
Column K: Extraction # Provide your own extraction number used in your lab so that if particular verifications/complements are needed it is possible to exchange easily DNA extracts |
Column L: Haplotype Designation is explained in the documents provided during the technical meeting and is given in filr haplotypes. In case a new haplotype has been found, inform Remy Petit so that a new identification code will be given to the new haplotype. |
