File Test

(To be stored on a EXCEL or QUATTRO spreadsheet)

Column A: Code

Code of the test

This code is link 2 and is also present in files Test and Provenance, and should therefore be the same as in files Test and Provenance

The code of the test comprises three components :

* the letter T

* two letters corresponding to the country where the test is planted (AT: Austria, BE: Belgium, DK: Denmark, FR: France, DE: Germany, NL: Netherlands, ES: Spain, GB: United Kingdom)

* a number in sequence given by the institute. Different participants of the same country hosting tests ( P2 and P3 for Germany, and P7 and P11 for Danemark) agree on the numbers given. For example, P2 would number his tests from T-DE-01 to T-DE-10 and P3 from T-DE-11 to T-DE-20.

For example, T-DE-06 would be test 6 established in Germany

Column B: Name

Usual name of the test, or code used by the Institute hosting the test

Column C: Institute

Code of the institute hosting the test.

This code is Link3 and is also present in file Cytogrid and Cytoprov, and should therefore be the same as in files Cytogrid and Cytoprov

Indicate month and year of plantation, for example 04/88 for April 88

Column N: Treatments

Indicate the number of provenances tested

Column O: Blocks

Indicate the number of blocks

Column P: Repetitions

Indicate the number of repetitions if it is a balanced design , or the extreme numbers of repetitions if it is an unbalanced design

Column Q : Plot

Indicate the number of trees per plot, if it is a balanced design, or the extreme values of the number of trees per plot if it is an unbalanced design

Column R: Spacing

Indicate the spacing in meters

Column S: Experimental area

Indicate in hectares the area of the test

Column T: Sister plantations

Indicate codes (link 2) of the sister plantations of this test
